From the Dansk website: “Designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1956, Købenstyle is iconic, enduring and practical. Its unique design has become a trademark of the Dansk brand.” But I was TODAY years old when I discovered that this collection is not just stunning but practical. The lids of the Kobenstyle collection double as a trivet!! Yes, that means you can serve the sauce hot from the stove, and then place the pot on top of the lid to guard your furniture from the heat of the pot. This pot is known as the sauce pot or fondue pot. The sides are angled inward to keep sauces from boiling over, and have a ledge that functions as a rest for fondue sticks while they cook their magic. Made from stainless steel, beautifully bright signature enamel colors, and teak wood handles in France as of 1956.

Though vintage, this piece is in overall very good condition. There are no nicks, chips, scratches or cracks on the enamel, and the interior is clean, and it appears that the only signs of wear are on the bottom where the pot met the fondue or stove flame. Please see detailed images. Any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage.
