Designed by the Finnish-born, Denmark-taught designer Tapio Wirkkala, the “Aslak” series was created for Iittala in 1972. Wirkkala is best known for his “icicle” textured glassware and this particular design was the most popular of his dinnerware creations.
This dessert glass is heavily textured and in fantastic condition for its age. They also make lovely votive candle holders casting a sparkly glow in a dimly lit setting.
They measure 3 3/4” in diameter x 3 1/2” in height.
