This brilliant red glossy oval serving platter is made by Bordallo Pinheiro (Portugal), and is from the pattern called “Poinsettia” (also called “Christmas”). It has a beaded edge, rim embossed with poinsettias and winter berries, and the center has a raised Christmas tree with a snowflake on either side.
The platter measures 14-7/8 inches wide and 11-1/8 inches across the middle. It is in very good to excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing, and no scratches or utensil marks that I can see.
The back side has a frog logo for “Bordallo Pinheiro | Portugal | Made in Portugal.”
