For your approval today is a large rectangular bread bowl with a small square bowl for serving dipping oil with herbs. The wood is hand carved Monkeypod more commonly known by it’s modern name of acacia. The pieces have excellent grain with incredible depth. There are some knots, but they are part of the grain and are not structurally damaging. The pieces have been freshly oiled and are perfectly foodsafe. Care is easy, Dip and wash by hand, no soaking, no dishwasher. If it needs oiled in the future, mineral oil rubbed in with a dry cloth. Easy and food safe. Putting oil in the bowl doesn’t count as soaking as oil is what is actually used to seal it. No worries. The large bowl is 14.25″w x 6″d x1.75″h , 6″w x 6″d x2″h for the small one. I have matching pieces listed separately in my chairish store. Followers of my store get notifications of new listings and discounts.
